Blog From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A blog (a contraction of the term "Web log") is a Web site, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Simple terms it's a webpage - That you can control
Why did I get into blogs?
I am a TUTU Kid? I love fiddling with things? I love technology & I love what I do? So it was a meeting of a couple of passions.
How could I combine this with - Teaching, Computers, Internet, Videos, cameras, sport, Physical Ed, Learning.
I first began using a blog with my rugby team

Kids love seeeing themselves & reading about themselves - this was my Eclass
I wrote reports & had players give me feedback
It was a way of selling their sport - Giving them an opportunity to "Shine" or not too Shine - Every game was placed into history
The website could be shared - with the wider community - their family, friends, relatives etc
I began using this in the class room with my Year 11 Physical Education Class

I had now created my 24/7 classroom
What type of environment are we now living in? What type of learner are we now teaching? What tools do they now have available? Are we preparing them for the world that they will work in?

Devotions -Wednesday 21st January
Good Morning everyone,
I hope you have had a pleasant week that has been restful , fruitful, enjoyable, satifying, eventful and most of all a time when you have managed to have time with the Lord. Since arriving at ICS I have managed to do a lot of talking with God or should I say that the Lord has been working on me. But that is a very long story, marked with many highs & lows.
In this very short time with you I would like to introduce you to me & my family - Not really & Not today as I have given myself 10 minutes for this mornings devotions:
Programme(Program) - Schedule - timetable for this morning
7.20am - Have Blog open for early birds to read - Introduction - (originally I had planned to do a video of me getting out bed & doing the entire devotions from our bedroom)
7.25am - Begin devotion - "Shout to the Lord"
7.30am - Memory Verse for this week
Galatians 6:9 (New International Version)
9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9 (The Message)
9-10So let's not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don't give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.
Galatians 6:9 (New King James Version)
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
